Knowledge Exchange

The field of seniors health care is rapidly expanding and evolving, meaning that we are constantly looking to adapt and improve the way we work at the front line, as well as across our teams, organizations and systems. We rely on literature-based, practice-based and lived experience evidence to guide and inform our decisions. This section of the site has two purposes:

1. to keep you in the know about the latest and greatest information related to seniors’ health; and

2. to provide a platform for discussion and exchange about hot topics in the field.

Knowledge Exchange

Since our inception we have engaged with other communities and institutions which strive to improve the health and well being of our aging population.  We recognize the value in working collaboratively with other networks, sharing wealth of knowlege and diversity of expertise.

Browse through our event listing for aging-related conferences, workshops and events hosted by CSAH, SHKN or other provincial and national partners. The Centre for Studies in Aging and Health also hosts community events to increase public awareness and understanding of age-related issues.

Though we would like to see you on Sagelink every day, we know that in the fast-paced field of seniors’ health this is just not realistic! To keep you up to date, CSAH and SHKN publishes Linkages, a monthly e-newsletter. Linkages features updates on provincial projects related to the care of older adults, continuous learning opportunities and a monthly reading list. If you’d like to be added to our distribution list and receive Linkages directly, please sign up here.
