Baycrest, in partnership with North East Specialized Geriatric Centre, is recruiting for the Fall 2019 program of "Project ECHO Care of the Elderly Long-Term Care (ECHO COE LTC), a telehealth education program that aims to help primary care providers build capacity in the care of older adults through weekly 60-minute videoconference sessions. Co-developed with geriatric clinical experts from Ontario, on behalf of the Regional Geriatric Programs of Ontario, the sfCare Learning Series comprises introductory educational modules for clinicians, along with supporting posters and patient handouts on 7 key clinical topics: delirium, mobility, polypharmacy, pain, loneliness, nutrition, and urinary incontinence.

Dr. David Conn provided useful guidance in this presentation for clinicians on preventing the development of BZRA use disorder and optimally assessing and treating older individuals who have developed such a disorder. To watch the recording click here.
