As members of the health sector, we are actively exploring the nature and extent of the inequalities often faced by this marginalized group. To bolster these efforts, the International Association for the Scientific Study of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IASSIDD) Special Interest Research Group and Surrey Place are hosting 20/20 & Beyond, a two-day conference that will raise awareness, increase knowledge and connect policy and practice to improve the health of individuals with IDD.

This annual conference comes back to Canada after 11 years. It welcomes participation from a range of interested groups including researchers, public health professionals, policy-makers, disability service providers, health care professionals and advocates. To learn more or to register click here.
