This presentation summarizes the behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. Dr. Puxty uses cases to review brain function and behaviour, as well as an approach for collaborative care planning within a primary care setting. Sessions focus primarily on the educational needs of medical residents from the Department of Family Medicine at Queen’s University and the continuing educational needs of Long-term Care Home-based physicians in South East Ontario.
